No Comments »Uh oh, it’s been a couple months since our last post. Kylie’s approaching 2 and it shows. She’s decided she can complain about anything, but doesn’t get her way. However, we DID get rid of the pacifier! Now to just get potty training out of the way and we’ll have ourselves a PK3 student 🙂

We’re moving soon!
No Comments »Well, each time we move, we’ve promised ourselves that we’d never go down the scale. So once we’re in a 1500sq ft Townhome, there’s only one way to go. We signed a lease-purchase contract on a 2000s ft house this week. It has a HUGE back yard for Kylie to play in, and more space than we know what to do with. Yay!

Another day, another trick learned…
No Comments »16 months old…oh the tricks we have learned!
She can now use a fork, which is always fun watching spaghetti night.
She can say daddy, mommy, bible, jesus, bye bye, and a couple other ones. I want her to say “love you”
She can clean up her messes if you sing with her.
She has successfully used the potty, and kinda understands its use.
She has figured out how to climb on anything.

No Comments »It’s been a while since my last post, but we’re almost there. Kylie is 11 months old and knocking on the door of the big 1!!!!!!! It’s so hard to believe that’s it’s been a year already. I could sit here all day and rant and rave about my amazing little girl. Alothough it was just 11 months ago, it’s hard to imagine life before her or without her. She does something

She stands!
No Comments »Howdy folks! Wifey says I don’t write enough on here, so let’s wrap up the past 2 weeks that she hasn’t written. Eureka and Kylie made their first of many trips to the water park on John Knox and had a blast! Kylie has finally gotten past the random spitup stage, so she’s getting more rides on daddy’s shoulders. She has finally mastered standing up while holding on, so she goes to the TV and pounds on the base, basically demanding “Sprout” while it’s either off or we’re watching something else.
She likes to pound on daddy in the mornings to get me to wake up, though I’m currently liking the extra hour I get…that goes away next week as school starts back up…
She has also gotten more stubborn at diaper changing time. For some reason she just doesn’t want to hang tight for a minute while you clean up her messes. It was only 2 weeks ago that she would sit there and play while you took care of business.
We bought her some walking shoes so she can start getting her balance. Tonight she decided to stand up on her own and let go…she stood for about 10 seconds!!! Woohoo! Uh oh! That means I need to get working on securing the cabinets.

Well, well, well…
No Comments »It’s been a while since I posted. Sooo many things have happened since then. Kylie is 9 months old. She is crawling now, she’s much more interactive, she’s pulling up and very close to walking. WOW, where did the time go. Speaking of pulling up, she likes to pull up on the glass tv entertainment center, any suggestions on how to make her stop this? My little girl has also become clingy. If I walk away, or someone is holding her, she will cry or reach. arghh. She’s got 2 teeth, but she wont show them enough to let me take photos of. One of her favorite past times is playing with daddy. She love to climb up on the foot rest of the recliner when Chris is in it, and play with his feet, while screaming at him and laughing all at the same time. It’s so cute 🙂 Now that she’s pulling up, if he lays on the floor with her, she’ll climb on him. Also cute. I have attached some pics for your enjoyment. Hope you like.

Kylie’s Development

Once again I have neglected posting and I apologize to those of you who are faithful readers. In the last month Kylie has made some major developement leaps. She can now comfortably sit up on her on, she is VERY vocal, and she even has 2 teeth in the bottom now. Yaaaayyyy!!! She’s not quite crawling yet, but she’s getting there. We are at the rocking back and forth, putting one knee forward, and then collapsing stage. She has began to cling to Chris and I and will bluntly reach for us. In addition to all that, she is also eating table food, and picking up small foods between her thumb and index fingers and getting it into her mouth (we’ve been working on this for a while.) My little girl is growing soooo big so fast!!!! I’m loving every minute of watching her evolve. She’s my little princess, she’s amazing, and my prayer for her is that she continues being the happy little girl that I am seeing everyday, and that she grows to love the Lord and reflect that love in her daily life. Mommy and daddy love you Kylie!!!!!!!!!
